Music and Number
There are hundreds of topics which I plan to pursue on this blog, but things must start somewhere. Please, feel free to suggest topics for discussion. One preoccupation I’ve had in contemporary music is the idea of music and number. This of course can be traced back to antiquity and can be found in the works of David Lang, Iannis Xenakis, Bela Bartok, and Frederic Rzewksi, to name a few....
