4000 Holes
Spending this cold winter weekend preparing for a performance of John Luther Adams’ 4000 Holes later this winter. This work, one of his newest pieces, is written for piano, percussion, and electronic soundscape and will be performed at Northern Illinois University in March with my Nothing in Common duo partner, Mabel Kwan. The piece, which references the Beatles, should be a wonderful close to this JLA portrait concert we are preparing. I can’t wait to put it together.
